The extended closure of the pool and surrounding area is needed to drain and refill the pool safely so as not to cause damage to the pool structure. The essential works include: complete de-scale of the pool and clean, repairs to tiling and grouting, re-coating the pool overflow ring main, replacement of all pool water lights, deep clean of pool changing areas, repairs to changing area tiling, balance tank cleaning, maintenance of pipe work and painting of various areas. During this time all of the pool showers will be replaced with eco-friendly showers to further reduce our co2 impact on the environment. The gym showers will also be replaced over this time period.
We would like to thank all of our customers and members for their patience regarding this closure, which will be the first time we have needed to drain the pool since it was built in 2013, to carry out essential maintenance ensuring the future operations of the pool for many years to come.
Swim Members will have access to the gym for these 2 weeks, can book in with a member of the Fitness Team for a Programme and can also attend studio sessions if space permits (pre-booking not available).
