Membership Cancellation - Wolverton Swimming & Fitness Centre

To cancel a direct debit membership with us we do require 30 days’ notice by completing the form below. This notice begins from the day the request is received. Therefore, for example, if you cancel on the 1st January any payment due in the next 29 days would still be owed and your membership would expire one month from the last payment. Please note that this is providing the minimum term has been completed on your membership.

Please do not cancel your direct debit as this will restrict your access to the facilities with immediate effect.

Moving out of the area.
If you have recently moved out of the area then we could look to close your membership without the notice period or the remainder of your contract being due if proof of new address is provided. If you are still in your minimum term period you will need to have moved more than 10 miles away from any of our facilities.
Some examples of proof of new address are:
- Council Tax Statement
- Bank Statement
- Signed copy of Tenancy Agreement
- Utility Bill
Please note that any proof of new address provided will need to state your name in full and the new address. The proof will also need to be recently dated and be on headed paper. Please attach below.
Medical Reasons.
If you are unable to use the facilities due to medical reasons then we could look to close your membership without the notice period or the remainder of your contract being due if medical proof is provided. Please note the medical proof will need to cover the time period of any months left on the remainder of the contract or the final notice month or alternatively the medical proof can state that you are unable to use the facilities “for the foreseeable future”.
Some examples of medical proof are:
- GP/Doctors note
- Hospital letter
- Physiotherapy note
Please note that any medical proof provided will need to state your name in full and be on headed paper. Please attach below.
Unemployment or Redundancy
If you have been made recently unemployed or redundant then we could look to close your membership without the notice period or the remainder of your contract being due if proof of unemployment or redundancy is provided.
Some examples of proof of unemployment or redundancy are:
- Full copy of P45
- Letter from previous employer
- Proof of claiming Jobseekers Allowance
Please note that any unemployment or redundancy proof needs to state your name in full, be recently dated and be on headed paper. Please attach below
